Rocks and Roots Trail at Alum Creek

The new Rocks and Roots Trail at Alum Creek State Park is in full swing! Construction is ongoing but the trail is open for running!

There will be several phases of construction to the Rocks and Roots Trail at Alum Creek State Park. The first phase will add upwards of 10 miles to an already existing 4 miles stretch of trail! During the first phase will will be clearing the corridor of the new sections, while also making plans for future sections to be built.  Additional phases will address needs for rerouting, hazard avoidance, structure building and signage.
